Ecocarat Drying Stone

The Ecocarat DryKeeper drying stone is a dehumidifying stone designed to keep salt, sugar and other powdered or bulk food fresh and dry. Each package contains two DryKeeper stones made of nano porous ceramic that is five times as moisture-absorbent as diatomaceous earth. 

Care

Once a month remove the DryKeeper from the container and dry thoroughly in a location with good ventilation.  If the stone becomes stained the surface may be cleaned with a cotton swab and a small amount of soda or chlorine bleach.  For larger stains a weak detergent may be used.  Rinse thoroughly and dry in a well-ventilated place after cleaning.  Do not clean with hard kitchen sponges, wash cloths, scrub brushes or wire wool, as these may damage the finish or cause greater stains.
