Shipping & Handling
We are based in Canada and ship to Canada, the U.S and the UK. For other international orders, please contact us at info@voilamaison.ca for details.
Our order processing and shipping time is 1-2 business days.
Estimated shipping times are varied by destinations and will be shown at checkout, please note the delivery times may be longer due to unforeseen reasons.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email including the carrier’s tracking number. It is the customer's responsibility to follow the progress of the package to identify any delivery problems and report them to us as soon as possible.
Shipping within Canada
Our standard process is to send all orders within Canada as 'Do Not Safe Drop' meaning that Canada Post will need to hand the package to a person and will not Leave Them at the Door. We do this to minimize the risk of package theft. If no one is available at time of delivery, Canada Post will leave a notice card for you to pick up your package.

Flat rate shipping of CA$15 for order under CA$120 before tax.
Quebec

Alberta & British Columbia
Free shipping on qualifying order over CA$185 before tax.
Flat rate shipping of CA$19 for order under CA$185 before tax.
All other areas within Canada

*We reserve the right to apply additional delivery charges for certain remote areas as well as for deliveries of packages with non-standard dimensions or weight. You will be contacted by a member of our team if additional charges apply. *
Shipping within the U.S
Signature Required (Canada & USA) add-on option
Unless signature required option is purchased at checkout the carrier of our choice and the store is not responsible for packages lost or stolen. Please contact the carrier immediately when this happened. It is the customers responsibility to check the tracking information we provide at time of shipping and follow it to see when the package will be delivered. If signature option is not purchased the carrier may leave on porch or at front door of your dwelling / office without anyone signing for it.
Insurance
All Canadian shipments will be covered for the standard carrier insured amount, which is generally up to CA$100.
U.S shipments sent via Express option will be covered for the standard carrier insured amount, which is generally up to of CA$100.
Shipments to rest of the world do not include insurance.
*Please note that U.S shipments sent via Standard shipment option is not insured. It is the customer’s responsibility if the package is lost or damage, Voila Maison reserve the right of not issuing refund in this case. *
The carrier insurance covers loss or damage during transit and does not cover theft after delivery.
While we understand the frustration of packages getting stolen, as a small business we are unable to provide refunds or reship packages that are stolen after delivery.
Unclaimed Returned Packages
In the case of an unclaimed return to sender package for various reasons: invalid or incomplete address, or failure to pick up a package at the drop-off point within the carrier's timeframe, reshipment charges will apply based on the shipping rate.
Our team will contact you with payment instructions. In the absence of a return from you, we reserve the right to refund the order, deducting the return shipping costs.
In addition to reshipment charges, the store will also charge 30% of the purchase price for handling fee.
Incorrect Shipping Addresses
We use the shipping address provided during checkout to ship all orders. If an incorrect address is provided, we will try our best to help coordinate getting the package back. The customer will be responsible for paying any additional shipping charges, as we will have to purchase a new shipping label.
Order Cancellation
Once the transaction has been completed, it is the customer's responsibility to contact customer service to request an order cancellation. Order cancellations must be made as soon as possible by telephone or e-mail. Orders cannot be cancelled once the shipping process has begun.
By proceeding with the payment of an order, the customer commits to the transaction and is responsible for cancelling the order if he/she changes his/her mind. If the customer wishes to cancel an order after it has been shipped, the customer will be responsible for return shipping if the items purchased are eligible for return.
Order confirmation e-mails are sometimes found in junk mail; it is the customer's responsibility to check their e-mail for our communications. If the transaction has been charged to your payment method, you should consider the payment as an order confirmation. We invite you to contact us to clarify the situation if necessary.
